<itunes:summary>First up is a man who definitely has the potential to be one of the most profound producers of his generation, Maleet formerly “Malito” has been involved in the hip-hop scene since 1994. Born on the Banks of the Hudson River in 1981, Maleet was marinated in a household rich with culture, and it shines through in his sound. This track is off that banging Many Moods of Maleet (http://redirect2.iodalliance.com/buy_album.php?id=9ACC62854803B00E1319AC0C0948E69CE042D7DAA41CB74D5F3075A41F18C62F7795FBC4623665B29668108892B601F8) release, and it's called "Come on Down". Another reason to give this man a serious listen and track his progress. Second up is a man who is second to none. The living legend DJ Premier. This is the track he produced for that Nike Classic (Better Than I Ever Been) campaign, that featured Nas, Rakim and Kanye. The original track was produced by Rick Rubin, but it really didn't match up to the aforementioned emcee's over Premo's signature sound. Ending the show is a beat by a Canei Finch, who's produced for Maino and TI. This time his efforts are utilized on a Memphis Bleek single, "Still Ill", which is off his forthcoming solo LP The Process. You know what do to. Feel the tracks? Use the links. His name is Batsauce, and he's produced joints for Mr. Lif, Surreal, Lady Daisey and the Smile Rays to name a few. This track is called "Firecracker" and it's off his free release Summertime (http://modernshark.com/batsauce-summertime-free-download-just-in-time-for-the-dog-days), a release which Batsauce constructed entirely from the versions of Gershwin's classic song "Summertime". Next is the phantastic producer for the crew Phenetiks, Deto 22. This joint, "Duro" is part of his partner Roc Doogie's "Dear Whoever" (http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/dear-whoever-duro/id381418860) maxi-single release, which is the first taste of Roc's upcoming LP My Mom Thinks I'm Awesome. Bringing us home is the third Beat Feed feature of producer Presto. This time its his track "Relax Your Mind", another smooth groove off his Inflight Instrumentals (http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/inflight-instrumentals/id104258370) LP. <itunes:summary>Not all producers follow the traditional cadences and arrangements of hip hop, and a lot of times their attempt at sounding progressive actually just sounds wack to your ears. This episode features producers who know how to make it sound dope. Setting it off is my man Nasa with the instrumental to "Berserker Fury" off his latest collab album with Chicago's Shortfuze. The album is titled Lobotomy Music, and it's filled with beats the Uncommon Records prez calls "proggy hip hop". Next up is a man from Definitive Jux, where Nasa engineered before starting his own label, El-P. This is another monster leak, called "Whores: The Movie", off his album WEAREALLGOINGTOBURNINHELLMEGAMIXXX3. We wrap up this episode with a track called "The Strangest Secret". It's the first single off Nick Nack's new release Dearly Departed (http://www.crowdcontrolrecords.com/albums.php?id=50), and he put together a clever creation incorporating soundbites, classic cuts and more than one bpm. Next up is a cut off Rakaa's new LP Crown of Thorns. This beat is from his song "C.T.D.", which I recently featured on IndieFeed, and was produced by DJ Babu. We end this episode ironically with a welcome. Actually "Welcome" is the name of this track, the first beat off the Chapter Seven Instrumentals release from Copperpot. The xylophones on this beat are bananas, and the cuts are top notch. Make sure you support these artists, but using the links, and purchasing anything they have for sale that you want. The release is a host of beats Oddisee produced on his trip to the west coast to produce for Trek Life's new album Everything Changed Nothing. Next up is a joint from a long awaited instrumental album Cocoon (http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/cocoon/id381319596) from veteran producer Ayatollah. This track is called "Reefer" and you can check the video for it on my website http://dirtedutch.com (http://dirtedutch.com). <itunes:summary>This is one of the slowest episodes you'll hear on Beat Feed, around the 80 bpm mark, but it also happens to be one of the illest production wise. Setting it off is a track that was featured inspired by the movie Black Dynamite. It's Buckshot and Sean Price with "Can't Fight the Feelin" (http://soundcloud.com/duckdown/cant-fight-the-feeling), and it was produced by the young legend 9th Wonder, this time partnering with Dan the Man. Following that lava rock is another heater from Substantial, "U Were There ft. JSoul" (http://qn5.com/blog/entry/audio-substantial-u-were-there-ft-jsoul-produced-by-joe-d/), which was produced by DMV beatsmith Joe D.. Closing it out is the God MC, Rakim, with the beat to his single "Holy Are You" (http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/holy-are-you-single/id324061568), which he put out on Ra Records last year. The beat was produced by long time Rakim collaborator Nick Wiz, and it's definitely one of his finer pieces. Use the links, the actual songs of the first two beats are free downloads, so make sure you also check out http://duckdown.com (http://duckdown.com), and http://qn5.com (http://qn5.com) and do a little shopping. <itunes:summary>We set this episode of Beat Feed off with a producer who is quickly matching the prolific output of his brother Madlib, the one and only, Oh No. Although his sound is quite different from his brother's, his beats are no less dope, as demonstrated here in Guilty Simpson's "Ode to the Ghetto", which is the title track off his 2008 LP. A tough act to follow, but not if you are as capable as the one called Khrysis, from Hall of Justus. From Rapper Big Pooh's Sleepers (http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/sleepers/id81015439) LP, this is the beat for "Just Friends" a crazy joint I featured on IndieFeed a while back. Wrapping it up is the instrumental to another track on that same playlist. It's "Little Young" from Masta Ace and Edo G, from their album Arts and Entertainment. The beat was produced by M-Phazes, an ill producer from Australia who's been heard on many a hip hop release to date. Use the buy-links, show your support for real hip hop and the producers that make it happen! Peace. - Dirt E. Dutch, Beat Feed</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>This week's episodes pay tribute to a producer who has put in a astonishing amount of work in the past decade, Panik of the Molemen. It's hard to understand why this man is so under-rated, with the kind of heat he's been pumping out of his Chi-town studio over the years. First up is a joint off the Sacrifice Instrumentals release, which is the lyric-free version of Longshot's album Sacrifice. It's called "Never Go Slow" and it sounds like a high speed chase in an action flick. Following that is a beat called "A Love That's Worth Having", off Instrumental 8 (http://redirect2.iodalliance.com/buy_album.php?id=954F548A33EC7AB72D0C982D4C2AD159E042D7DAA41CB74D5F3075A41F18C62FF4F43EC1A3E2CE9542CE946F81FCF882), which is a 35 track instrumental extravaganza produced entirely by Panik. Ending the episode is a banger called "Their Unforgettable Things", off his release Panik #5 Instrumentals, which contains yet another plethera of ill production. Use the links. <itunes:summary>After a much needed two week getaway, I'm back with a fresh new episode, and who better a producer to set off my return but me! Episode 28, which happens to be my favorite number, starts off with a beat I released during the 2008 election season, and Breez Evahflowin took it and quickly laid out some real powerful verses in support of a particular candidate. It spread like wildfire around the web, and we put it on our Troublemakers release Remixes, Releases, Robots! (http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/troublemakers-remixes-releases/id293700116). The song was called "TM4O" and if you have half a brain you can figure out what that stands for. I'm not much into politics however, so no more politician endorsements from me ever again, and for good reason. Second up is a track I produced around the time one of my best friends, John "Stroe" Wilson died from brain cancer. I call it "Never Forget" and I recorded some verses for it and even recited the first one at his funeral in Negril Jamaica, but it was a personal tribute and at that time I was not willing to share outside of the immediate fam. Lastly is another unreleased joint I produced titled "Much Better", inspired by the desire to make it in this industry. Hope you enjoy. Let me know what you think. Peace! - Dirt E. <itunes:summary>The first beat of this episode is produced by a man who has worked hard to make a name for himself in the field of hip hop production, and paying his dues truly paid off. He rarely produces a beat that can not be considered a banger, or a "blap" as he likes to call it. iLLmind is his name, and the beat selected is for Moonshine's 12" release "Mark My Words" (http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/mark-my-words-digi-12/id324082848). Moonshine being an up coming MC to look out for, currently on Domination Recordings. Second to swing is a song I featured during my earlier years as a podcaster. <itunes:summary>We got some brand spankin' new sure-shots in this episode of Beat Feed. First off, a producer who I've just been put on to, and he seems to have a signature chop in his beats that I hope to hear more of in the future. His name is Kelakovski, and he's produced two joints off Verbal Kent's new single Examples (http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/last-laugh-featuring-masta/id376122450), including this one here called "Same". Kent's collab with Masta Ace and One Be Lo on this single is a must have, so go get it. In the middle is a track that El-P put out just days ago, called "Meanstreak in 3 Parts" (http://el-p.bandcamp.com/track/meanstreak-in-3-parts), and it's the first single from the new all instrumental album WEAREALLGOINGTOBURNMEGGAMIXXX3 dropping august 3rd on Gold Dust Media. Click that link and get the single free on bandcamp. Bringing us home is the Nicolay and Kay instrumental for the song "The Gunshot ft. Chip Fu" off their album Time:Line (http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/time-line-extended-edition/id317122091). Once again, support these artists, buy their work. Make them happy. This one hits like Chuck Liddell, an it's called "Prove Em Wrong". Next up is another serious cut, produced by 9th Wonder. It's off of the Jesus Price Superstar album from Sean Price. Titled "P-Body", it's a joint featuring Sean P's long time lyrical partner Roc of Heltah Skeltah on the chorus. One of the most amazingly consistant producers, banging out hit after hit, is Just Blaze. <itunes:summary>It's hard not to include a Jake One banger in every episode of Beat Feed. He set off the very first episode and will likely be around to close out the last. He's that nice. He's back in number 18 with a track off his LP White Van Music Instrumentals, and DOOM fans everywhere went bananas when they heard him on it. The track is entitled "Trap Door", and it's one of many incredible pieces off a soon to be classic release. Hard to follow, but this crew The Anonymous has provided such an assortment of crazy instrumentals, I've already showcased them 3 times in less than 20 episodes. The beat is called "Life on Earth" and it's from their ZinnDeadly Instrumentals release. Wrapping it up is the homie Kero One with another jazzy Bay Area breez. This one is called "Windmills" and it's off his Windmills of the Soul Instrumentals album. All of these releases are on iTunes and/or online. Use the links and cop a copy! It's called "We Roll", and its such a crazy beat, I really wished he used it on an instrumentals only release. The song was featured on Pete's feature album NY's Finest (http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/nys-finest-bonus-track-version/id273090717). What better to follow a legend with two, perhaps even three with Talib's body of work. The next beat is for the song "Oh Really" ft. Talib Kweli and Geo of Blue Scholars, from Buckshot and KRS ONE off the Survival Skills (http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/survival-skills/id330216189) album. Next Oddisee, a producer you'll be hearing a lot of here on Beat Feed, takes us on a west coast Journey through "San Fran", which is part of his Traveling Man instrumentals series. And to satisfy those in need of bit more of a club vibe, Chali 2na gives us a taste off his solo LP Fish Outta Water with the beat to his critically acclaimed single "Lock Shit Down". This one is "Keep It Going" off D. Black's new LP Ali'Yah. Following that is another quality produced groove from DJ Center, entitled "Leave the City Outside" which features Oddisee, off Center's album Everything In Time. Topping off this episode is an ill remix of "Get Down", the lead single off the album Vision from Jern Eye. - Dirt E. Dutch, Beat Feed</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>Welcome to the debut release of Beat Feed! In this episode, hear a mix of banging new instrumentals from some of the illest in the game. We set it off with some jazz heavy nastiness from my man DJ Devastate (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Dj-Devastate/62237212706), from his new album Movement/Silence. Next Quazedelic (http://www.myspace.com/quaze1) gives us a taste of old gym shoe athlete's foot funk off Declaime's Fame EP. And Jake One brings it home with one of his fresh signature bangers off the Stimulus Package he just dropped with Freeway. Get it now!</itunes:summary>
